Claray understands the commitment of Western companies in regards to High Quality, Proactive Service and Affordable Pricing. Most of the time it is a challenging hustle especially as intercontinental business operations is the norm of today

Claray has been running operations in the United States, Thailand, China, Australia, Ukraine, and Dubai for the past 5 years to bring designers and jewelers’ ideas from concept to realization, moving them through design to prototyping and finally production, while maintaining high quality at a fraction of the cost.

Many companies struggle to bring their projects to life because the process of designing, prototyping and securing a suitable factory is a difficult and complicated process.

Claray will design, model, and then prototype all types of Jewelry.

How do you convert my design into something visual?

It starts with your idea. You can communicate your idea to us best via our Get a Quote form and then we will begin to build an idea of how to represent it visually, through initial sketches and 3D modeling.

Generally speaking for design work, it does take some communication and subsequent changes to finalize something the end client is happy with.

What is the first process in design?

Once we have finalized an initial sketch, we begin to map out the design into something more rigid that we can take to the prototyping stages.

What does the design work cost?

At Claray we strive to keep design work as affordable as possible, as its the gateway to manufacturing and it helps ideas become realities.

How do you do prototyping?

Prototyping takes place, only when the client and Claray are satisfied with the finalized design. We are specialists in manufacturing with 3D printing so any piece of jewelry can be brought to life.

Whilst it will be an exact visual representation of your final product, production materials and methods might differ. These are often an exact match to the finalized production sample done either in silver or stainless steel, and a finalized garment sample is used to check quality control before manufacturing to more expensive gems and metals.

How much does prototyping cost?

Both Design and Prototyping are gateways to production and we believe in greatly subsidizing product development and design.

While most companies will charge top dollar for a printed prototype, Claray believes in keeping this affordable.

We do this through our workshop and by working closely with our partner factories and not charging exorbitant pricing.

Typically our pricing for prototyping starts at around $150 (USD) and takes around 7-10 working days.

What are the benefits of prototyping?

Prototyping is one of the most fundamental and important parts of a collection design and development stage.

Visually it allows you to see your jewelry designs and get an impression and feel of how it looks. But more importantly than that, it allows you to identify potential flaws in your design and gives you opportunities to add improvements or re-visit ideas before you move to full-scale production.

What happens after prototyping?

With a finalized design and a successful prototype, the next stage is to move towards organizing production.

This depends on the type of product you want to manufacture. We will be happy to manufacture your designs for you, or you can manufacture with any other manufacturer while Claray would ensure your production needs in terms of quality and quantity.
